Being a consistent releaser on Ferry Corsten’s Flashover Recordings label, Rafaël Frost continues to build his unique sound. Big remixes like  Alex M.O.R.P.H. & Rank 1’s  Life Less Ordinary and Bryan Adams’s Run To You (#1 at Beatport Charts) and releases like Worlds and Minimum (#1 Audiojelly Charts for 11 weeks in a row) have made Rafaël one of biggest upcoming talents of today.

 Creating music…   Rafaël Frost started creating music at the age of nine when playing random tunes on the electric piano of his father. After a couple of years he took drum lessons, and played in a band which featured in a music video in a Dutch TV show (VPRO, Nederland 3).   Besides playing drums in his band, Rafaël Frost bought a guitar and began practicing it at home. At this stage he was also experimenting with electronic music using his first computer and a piece of software called “Scream Tracker”. In 1993 Rafaël Frost began creating actual tracks with software and came addicted to making electronic music using a pc.

Greece 2000 remix  In 2004 Rafaël Frost met another producer called Hugo Zwarts (a.ka. Alankara). Hugo Zwarts was at that time also busy creating a “Three Drives - Greece 2000“ remix for DJ Maron and asked Rafaël Frost to jump in on this project. The Greece 2000 remix meant a first vinyl release for Rafaël Frost. The track was amongst others supported by DJ Tiësto.

Flashover Recordings   After the above release on Massive Drive Recordings in 2005, Rafaël Frost got introduced to Ferry Corsten’s Flashover label. His track “Mute Your Mind”, with a techy sound and a surprising warm Spanish guitar break, was his first release on  Flashover Recordings BV.
  “Mute Your Mind” became a big hit in clubs all over the world and was amongst many others supported by DJ’s such as Ferry Corsten, Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond and was featured in Judge Jules’ popular radio show on “BBC Radio 1”.

A great 2006 lead to signing up with Dance Therapy booking agency beginning 2007, since then Rafaël has played at big events like Dance Valley 2006 & 2008 edition, Dance Tour (Netherlands), Mayday (St. Petersburg, Russia) but also club nights like Sublime (Sydney, Australia), Escape @ Swansea (Wales, UK) and Vaccine @ Turnmills (London, UK) where Rafaël Frost headlined together with John ’00’ Fleming.

Releases 
With “Time Out”/”Out of Time”., a collaboration with Maron, and  “City Fiction” & “Worlds” Rafael continued releasing his music on Flashover Recordings. The digital release of “Worlds” directly hit the Beatport.com Top 40, and the track got support by #1 DJ Paul van Dyk, Above & Beyond and was at #1 in Ferry Corsten’s Top 5 for 2 months in a row.

As a result to this succes Rafaël was asked to do a remix of the massive club-hit of 2006 Alex M.O.R.P.H. & Rank 1 - Life Less Ordinary. His remix got the pick of the other remixes at Trance.nu rating it 5/5 stars and is heavily being supported by Paul van Dyk and all other big names.

Rafaël Frost’s remix of the 80’s hit of Bryan Adams, Run To You meant real recognition in the scene. His remix got enormous support by practically every big trance DJ out there.. Beside his own remix, The Scumfrog (Jesse Houk) (remixed Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears and Missy Eliot amongst others) complemented the release with a more electro-feel remix.

Rafaël Frost’s latest release “Minimum” is topping the AudioJelly charts at #1 for 11 weeks in a row. Joined by his second track “Autumn Monday” at #2.

Minimum shows off Rafaël Frost’s production skills, this time using a different style, quoting Trance.nu;
